Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Android game Stack Tower – Block Builder (package com.tower.bara, the “App”) and its game server at stacktower.maxenergic.com (together, the “Service”) collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. The Service is provided by BA'RA – Max Energic Apps (“we”, “us”).
The short version: you can play without creating an account or giving us your name or email. To save your progress online we create a guest account on our own server. We do not sell your data. Ads are served by Google AdMob, and purchases are handled by Google Play — we never see your card details. You can delete your account and all its data at any time in the App, or by emailing support@maxenergic.com.
1. Information we collect
| Data | What it is | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Guest account | A random install identifier and secret generated by the App, and the player ID our server assigns to it. The secret is stored only as a one-way hash. | To create your account without an email or password and to recognise your device when it connects. |
| Nickname | The display name you choose (or the default “Player1234”-style name). | Shown to you and, in online features, to other players. |
| Game progress save | Levels, XP, coins, high scores, unlocked modes and skins, battle pass, city, missions, achievements and settings. | To back up your progress and restore it on another device. |
| Purchase records | Which product you bought (“Remove Ads”, “Premium Pass”), the Google Play order number and purchase time. The purchase token is stored only as a one-way hash. | To deliver your purchase and restore it on reinstall or a new device. |
| Google Play Games ID (optional) | If you sign in with Google Play Games and link it, your Play Games player ID. | Only to find your game account again on a new device. Signing in is optional. |
| Online play, leaderboards and friends | Results of your online matches (scores, floors, winner), records of your game runs used to check scores (mode, random seed and the timing of your taps), your leaderboard entries, your friend code and friends list, and friend challenges you create or play. | To run online matches fairly, verify scores against cheating, show leaderboards and match history, and let you play with friends. Other players see your nickname, scores and online status. |
| Technical data | IP address and basic request information (time, endpoint, result) seen by our server. | To operate and secure the Service and prevent abuse (for example rate limiting). Our server logs do not record IP addresses or nicknames; match events are logged with an anonymous player ID only. |
| Advertising data (AdMob) | Collected by Google AdMob, not by us: advertising ID, IP address, device information and ad interactions. | To show, measure and (with consent where required) personalise ads. See section 4. |
We do not ask for your real name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or location. There is no free-text chat. If you email us for support, we receive your email address and what you write.
All game modes work offline; offline progress stays on your device until the App syncs it with our server.
2. How we use information
- To provide the game: accounts, cloud save, purchases and online features.
- To keep the Service fair, secure and working: preventing cheating, abuse and fraud, and fixing problems.
- To show ads (see Advertising and consent).
- To answer your support requests and comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-party services
The App uses these Google services, which process data under their own policies:
- Google Play Games Services (optional sign-in, leaderboards, achievements) – Google Privacy Policy
- Google Play Billing (in-app purchases) – Google Payments Privacy Notice
- Google AdMob and the User Messaging Platform (ads and consent) – How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
4. Advertising and consent
The App shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID, IP address and ad interactions to serve, measure and (where permitted) personalise ads.
- Where required (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), the App asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice in the App's settings.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalisation, in your Android settings.
- The “Remove Ads” purchase turns off banner, interstitial and app-open ads; optional rewarded ads you choose to watch remain available.
- We do not share the data stored on our server with advertisers.
5. In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Google Play. We receive the product, order number, purchase time and purchase token, check them with Google Play, and store the purchase on your game account. We never receive your payment details.
6. Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with other players to the extent online features need it (for example your nickname), with the Google services above, with our hosting provider, and when required by law.
7. Where data is stored and security
Game data is stored on our own server at stacktower.maxenergic.com, a virtual private server we manage. Connections between the App and the server are encrypted (HTTPS). Secrets and tokens are stored as one-way hashes. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and fix problems promptly.
8. Retention
- Account, nickname, progress save and purchase records are kept while your account exists and are deleted when you delete your account.
- Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted.
- Support emails are kept as long as needed to help you.
9. Deleting your account and data
In the App: open Settings and choose Delete account. This immediately and permanently deletes your account, nickname, cloud save, Play Games link, match history, run records, leaderboard entries, friends and friend challenges, and purchase records from our server.
By email: if you can no longer open the App, email support@maxenergic.com with the subject “Stack Tower account deletion request” and your nickname (and whether you used Play Games). We may ask a question to verify the account is yours, then delete it and confirm by email, normally within 30 days.
Uninstalling the App removes the data on your device but not your server account. Your Google Play purchase history is kept by Google: after deleting your account, reinstalling and restoring purchases gives you your purchases again on a new account.
10. Your choices and rights
You can change your nickname, choose whether to sign in with Play Games, manage ad consent and delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, or to object to processing. Contact us at support@maxenergic.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
11. Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what this policy describes, which is limited to what is needed to run the game. There is no free-text chat. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when we add features. We will post the new version here and change the effective date; significant changes will also be announced in the App or on Google Play.
